Yes, I don't think Hewitt will win, realistically. But I've given up on the Scud and Rafter's quit, so he's the only male Aussie worth a damn. Sorry, Todd Reid.

Play has started and Roger Federer, Lleyton Hewitt and Martina Navratilova are all through in straight sets.

Myskina swears in Russian, thinking no one will notice. In the French Open final at the change of ends she was picked up shouting f**k you (in Russian) to her entourage Todd Reid is reigning Scottish Mens Singles champion and we watched him practice and spoke to him at Melbourne Park last year - too lightweight to do any serious damage at Wimbledon. You're right about Safin too. I must say I'm quite partial to Elena Dementiava!! An article at the weekend said how nearly all the Russian girls apart from her and Bovina came from incredibly impoverished backgrounds and it likened tennis as being the 'ticket out of the slums' like basketball is to black Americans.
