The Sensible Australian Election Thread

Re: The Sensible Australian Election Thread
Hard to believe ex nats sided with labor. Is a big vote against Abbott as coalition leader. Those dodgy costings and poor economic ability in the leadership team seem to have really hurt him.

Plus the Coalition are the best at burning bridges. Just look at Wilson Tuckey's latest rant!!!

No they don't. There are good rules and bad rules and generally decided by consensus. It's the same with laws. Just because there is a law doesn't mean it is right.
Somtimes rules need to be changed because they're stupid. Just like the election rules.
This is a philosophical debate.

Neither major party will change the rules as it cements their power once obtained.

If some laws are bad it does not mean that all laws are bad. Same with rules. Philosophically or otherwise all systems will have their faults. Complaining about the faults when it affects you but not complaining when they don't is just churlish nonsense.
Philosophically or otherwise, whinging is whinging.

I didn't say the rules are wrong. I said just because there are rules doesn't mean they are right. It doesn't mean they are wrong either. A typical case of reading into something what you want to read rather than what is actually written.
As I said it is a philosphical debate of right vs wrong. Whinging is your projection.

Whinging is my perception not my projection. And that perception can be backed up with hard evidence.

What is right and what is wrong? What is good and what is bad?
Confused yet?
