Hi Mrs DB,

Were your twins split up by school policy or your own choice ? I would love the chance to have my two split up but their school here in UK only has 1 class for each year. By 3pm they are sick to death of each other and squabble until bedtime !!

Sorry to the rest of you for sending this thread off on a tangent.

By CHOICE K, both my choice & the teachers if they had ever experienced them together LOL. There was a chance at one stage that there may have only been one class for grade ones plus a composite class (ie year 1 & 2 in together) & if that had been the case I would have sent them to different schools if needed. They just cant be in the same class together their behaviour is attrocious & extremely disruptive if they are, luckily we ended up with 2 year 1 classes which meant they could stay at that school. Composite class is no good for them & wasnt even an option.

When they are split up their behaviour is much improved as well as they have learnt to make new friends without the other, have become more outgoing, confident & generally less competitive. I think it helps them to learn to cope without their *crutch* ie other twin through life.
