Yes I go on about the immigrant's in the UK, and now i'm gonna be one my self but how many aussies either are or are related to migrant's? Even the aborigine's migrated there from somewhere else. I would rather have nicked a loaf of bread and become a prisoner of her majesty and been sent out to oz. It would have been a damn sight cheaper!!! And quicker! anyway I'm from Yorkshire and we are pretty thick skinned up here. If someone has a go at me at least they are leaving some other poor bugger alone.

Same with Kiwi's, so I'm told.
I've met A LOT of Aussies who "do" several years OS starting in their mid 20's to mid 30's then return to settle in Aus in their mid 40's to mid 50's. Do not have a statistic.

This is a world apart from your average Brit who goes overseas every year of their life and tend to be very outwards looking.
Right, so going once or twice a year to Mallorca, Ibiza or Greece getting pissed and behaving badly to an extent that the locals are talking of banning young Brits is being "very outwards looking"?
I have met so many Brits abroad who had no clue about the place they were in and to be honest had absolutely no interest in it apart from the beach and the next pub.
You have to look far to find newspapers anywhere as xenophobic and inward-looking as some English tabloids I could mention, and as they are some if not the best selling newspapers in the UK I don't think very many of their readers are terrible outwards looking.
I'm not particularly trying to have a go at the Brits, because the things above could probably be said about people from most or many European countries these days. People, in my opinion, where ever they're from, are generally not terribly interested in or open to or knowledgeable about other countries.
And to finish it of, I have met many interesting, fun and very likeable Australians abroad as well as inward-looking and narrow-minded ones.

I am running out of ways to convince the management that this company would be better off without a Pommie Bastard any ideas?

I like it but tried it and failed they have the wrong impresstion of me , having worked here 8 years I have gained far to much respect for what I do and its hard trying to covince them to give me a pay out when they are down to such small numbers I fear that I may have mised the boat.
No one bothers me I miss meetings so the manager now chases me up and makes a point of thanking me for turning up, they take my banter without getting upset , I've even back chatted the CO without success its hopeless.
