Channels 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12 in VHF which as I said you will get.
Channel 33 in UHF which you won't on your German set.
It could well be you not getting that on your other sets as well because it is lower power and perhaps you don't have a UHF aerial.

Can you confirm or otherwise you are getting this UHF MUX?
Her TV works therefore all this is meaningless

No it is not. We have not established yet whether it works on the UHF MUX.

You still don't seem to understand. Digital TV is broadcast as multiplexes or MUXES which are attached to TV channels. Channels 6 to 12 are at VHF and broadcast the same as Germany. Channels 28 to 69 are at UHF and Australia broadcasts these in a bespoke way not used anywhere else. This is why I asked, and have not yet had a reply to, if the TV in question works on the CTS33 MUX. If not the TV won't work in all areas of Australia.

Chriss955 I have been out this afternoon thanks, in the pub with six mates.

I'm not sure what the channel is but I receive more channels than those listed so all good. The main channels are VHF anyway so anyone bringing a TV shouldn't have to worry too much. If they can't tune to either Australia or Germany, then they buy a cheap set top box. You are making mountains!

Not quite ...

Most modern TV's will likely work so there is no need. If you do have an older one then the set top box will work, but to say the TV won't work is wrong which is what you did say!

This has not been established yet as far as UHF is concerned. UHF is used a lot in country areas and for additional programmes in the cities.

I don't see a channel 33 - I don't know what channel names are associated with 33.

I do have 32 channels listed (some doubles received twice I guess) - the main channels are 7 (7, 7mate, 7two); ABC (news24, ABC1, ABC2/ABC4, ABC3, ABC music and ABC Jazz); 9 (9, Gem, Gold, Go, NITV(not sure a 9 channel though));10 (10, one, eleven); SBS (SBS one, SBS HD, SBS two, SBS 3, SBS radio1, SBS radio2, SBS radio3); others (TV4ME, TVSN, 44Adelaide).

If that's not enough and you really need that UHF channel (if it isn't one of the ones listed) then by all means buy a set top box.
