We're also interested in these areas, if anyone has info. Heard from some guy on here a few weeks ago, that Ocean Reef had some hoon action. Is it a problem?

I'm looking into Edgewater and recieved posative feedback about the area.
We are hoping to be over during the summer if vsa and house sale all come thru'.
I have a 12, 6 and 4 year old not forgetting the 36 year old husband.

Hooligans, rowdy neighbours, actual abuse. I think the Aussie call 'em hoons (HOOligaNS?).

I'll search for the thread, perhaps it was an isolated incident.

We fancy edgewater too.We know friends who've just returned from ocean reef and they loved it so Im looking there as well,closer to the beach but houses are more expensive obviously.

My plan is to rent in one of these areas for 6 months lower the tone to bring down house prices then grab a bargain

Just hope I get there before you do or youll lose a fortune
