Can I just ask if you had any problems getting permission to have your pool filled? Do you have to apply to the council ?
Just wondered, as we get our house next month & it's got a chlorine pool, which needs a bit of maintenance & hubby wants to drain it & change it to salt water & I'm wondering how we go about it.
Any info would be appreciated,

Did you have a breakdown for the excavation costs?

Reason we are excavating an area 30 metres length by 7 metres wide (down to a depth of 4 metres). Basement garage / workshop.

The pool will be beyound this 4 x 6 metres with depth of 1.5 to 1.8 metres

Depending on which coumcil you are with on the water we are in redlandshire and our pool co. pay a monthly fee so filling was included in price if you can't fill from hydrant for our size pool the fill cost is $500

Council approval is done by the pool company and ours took 10 days to come through also included inprice

not sure how you go about changing my be worth getting Jim' pool people out to quote you for it.

Do you have concrete or fiberglass as you are not suppose to emty fiberglass fully
