And to the original poster: I did go to college to get the qualifications, but only 1 day a week. Surely a qualification doesn't matter where it was achieved aslong as you've got it.

i did nvq2 hairdressing one evening per week at college, surely, regardless of how many days attended if i've got the proper certificates (including beauty therapy level 3 4 years previously) then i have the formal qualifications. How much working experience did you have before applying and which visa did you apply for and were there any problems.
all that without taking a breath! no seriously, hope you dont mind all the questions but i keep putting it all off because we have lots of different things standing in the way, we have the worst luck in the world and we definitely cant afford an agent, I'm quite good at the old paperwork and would feel ok doing it all myself.Thanks carol :scared:
