Hi All,

So just how clean do my tools need to be? I have heard that if they have any rust (or look like metal does after a few years of use) that they will want to fumigate/treat. is this a myth? or is a good spray with WD40 good enough? Because if I have to clean/grind everything I might need to cancel shippers and flights because it would take me a month to do that! (and not because they are really rusty, just because of the amount I would have to clean)

Thanks

I cleaned all our tools/garden equip on my own as OH had already left for Oz and I sprayed all garden forks, spades, pick axe et with Hammerite paint spray and jet washed everything I could. It took me about a month, but I was on my own and he had a lot of stuff, double garage full of tools etc. Everything got here end of Feb all ok
