OH works on the railway. He says that there will be A train that will run in July as the Government stated July but then there will be no more till around October. Thats the plan at the min anyway.

I work with a guy who commutes from nearly the end of the line on the bus. It has taken him 2 1/2 hours to get to work some days recently.

I think even October is optimistic. They are still building the stations and some of the catenary cables still have not been installed. I was involved in engineering rail projects in the UK and know that it takes ages to commission and test systems and trains. I reckon we will be lucky to have it before the end of the year.

Means the only solution to Perth is personal car until the new line comes into operation...

Scheduled for 2023 if they can secure the labour force.

Most people will be travelling to work via Jet Pack by then.

Ha well I did say all day long so 2 1/2 hours is quick then
