Not my cup of tea but each to their own.There are Aussie bars in London.One or two Irish pubs in AmericaSome people like that sort of thing but still love the Country that they live in.Sue.

There isn't 99% up there either. Butler as it goes is relatively low. My suburb of Connolly has a higher percentage of british born people than Butler and we have an english style pub here. Nobody slags Connolly off.

There is a South African/British style pub in Woodvale though I have never been.None of my Aussie friends seem to be bothered by it.Sue.

born again poms are the worst of all and what makes you so high and might to slag off where certain people live, i live in jindalee and most prob won't use the pub in question for the reasons of trouble but i don't go round on my high horse looking down on people.

Hmmmph. Maybe you should inform all the non-UK born & breds who showed up at our resident's association meeting that they don't belong. Of 75 or so people there were maybe 10% from UK. The rest were either Aussies or from elsewhere.

Can see where the term whinging poms came from - even whinging about how many other poms there are here
I've just moved to Butler and I really like it! Got lovely parks for the kids & I've found everyone really friendly. Don't know how many people have said to me 'don't move to Butler its full of Brits' - they've all been poms of course

I cant wait for it to develop more up there be great......

I even hear they are opening a Reebok, everlast and burberry shop there, with imported curry Uk Style for the yocals...
