What's the point in starting a new life when you don't have a life, to sit on a beach and soak in the sun, may only happen once a week, you will end up having a wife who never see's you (which can't be a bad thing) and a girlfriend in every state.
What removal company do you work for? I worked on removals for 7 years and they were the best years of my life. What pleasure I got.

Yes, I've seen Booth transport advertising, I think the jobs there are for interstate drivers mostly where you may be out for a week at a time.

I have also worked for a removal company in Sydney who subcontaracted http://www.giraffe-removals.com.au/ for about a year while on a working visa, it was bloody hot, the local removal men ran rings round me.

At present, I'm self employed (just for tax reasons) and I work different contracts throughout the year.
Jan – early March - I work for a gift importer, I deliver and set up exhibition stands, position his products on the stand, sell to his customers and dismantle and move on the next exhibition show.
Mar - September I work for a guy on general haulage
October - December I work for someone else delivering packaging (home every night)
throughout the year I work a Saturday or Sunday (if driving hours permit) for another haualge company
I don't get paid holidays, but my rate is higher and I don't get bored.

Depending on where you are 15-20 km south of the city it could be anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes. We live just off Northeast Rd 8 km from the city and during rush hour it takes me about 20 minutes to get to North Adelaide. Add another 5-10 to get into the CBD. If there is an accident on your main way in (the freeway or South Rd) then you can add quite a bit more to your time.
As for the roads being busy, it really depends on where you come from. We moved here from Toronto area and found the traffic to be very light. The infastructure is very poor by comparison, but there are far less people here than where we came from so less traffic.

Hope you had a good weekend - Thanks for reply !! Also can i ask you one other question ? How do the Land and House packages work ? Is it a one off payment ?
Thanks
