Hi to everyone that's already moved.

Steve.
Hi steve,

We're from Dumbarton and are hoping to move to perth in December/January. We are a 138 visa so maybe its a bit optomistic. Acknowledgement received by DIMIA on 9th March so now the wait. We have relatives in Kinross, Perth and went there for a holiday over chistmas and new year and loved it. We knew we would and thats why our assessment had already been sent to TRA before we left for our hols. It would be nice if we were there before the schools start back in February after their summer holidays but if that doesnt happen, then whats another month or two!!

Hi Dave
Have you been to Frankston before, or do you know people there? We were thinking of South Frankston or Mornington.

We're from Dundee and are bound for Brisbane in June. Having a Scottish Lassies day on 15th April at Braes Bar, Perth Road Dundee if you fancy it.

Cheers

Steve.
Hi, I'm from Dalgety Bay in Fife.
We are going to Brisbane in June to validate our visas which were granted in January.
I'm planning to go to Dundee on the 15th.
We had a really good time the last time and it does help being able to speak to others going through the same process.

Hi Dave
I am a bookkeeper ( although housewife for past 5 years) and hubby is A&E Staff Nurse, we are in process of getting skills check then onto STNI, we originally wanted to go for a 136 but would have to wait for another 6 months due to the 12-18 month work experience, OH took 11 month career break so didn't meet criteria for 136. We also heard to avoid North Frankston, but like the look of South, we have been looking at houses in both Frankston & Mornington and like both. We are looking at staying at the BIG4 Dandenong Tourist Park for a few weeks until we find a rental, have you heard of it and if so is it OK, are you staying with your sister when you arrive? You are a bit further ahead in the process, how have you found it so far? and are you using an agent? we are doing it ourselves. GOOD LUCK with your meds
Sorry for all the questions.
cheers Jac
