Just wondering because it's hard to talk about future plans to the people who we're leaving behind.
Hi to everyone that's already moved.

We're near Falkirk, hoping to go out end of the year to either Adelaide or Melbourne (depending on which visa we end up with).
I agree with Sandra - get your other half to come join us in Dundee in a couple of weeks. When we met in January, none of us had met before but we had a real laugh.

Thanks for all replies.
Didn't realise so many Scots moving to Melbourne area.
Hardest part is waiting for paperwork and trying to decide where to live.
I'm a biker so i need good roads, but also want somewhere to learn to scuba dive.
Anyone know where about they're moving to.
People who are already there. Where's the best place to live for kids?

It's Melbourne for me......... my two sisters & their families are already settle in North Ringwood, so the decision is already made for us.
We're a 139 visa and going by austimeline we should have our visa end of July early Aug.......... it can't come quick enough. (My parents are also moving)

We're originally from Hamilton and living in the isle of man just now( unfortunately ). We've just sold our house ( we think ) and have just sent off for our skills assessments. We're hoping to be in marvelous Melbourne by the end of this year or very early next year all going well.
I also hope to be enjoyin a beer with a few of you in Melbourne at some stage!!
Cheers,
