Same in Qld, if you're in a posh area you go shopping in thongs as opposed to bare feet

Thankfully, I've only seen bare feet at the beach.

Mind you it's been a bit cold, so maybe it's a pleasure I've yet to encounter :scared:

What is the problem with bare feet There are millions of people all over Africa, Asia, South America etc who have never seen shoes, let alone wear them - who gives a flying **** whether someone else, who you generally don't know, is wearing shoes or not Why are you looking at people's feet anyway. I look at people's faces - am I not normal (don't answer that ). I honestly just do not care what someone else is wearing, as long as I am dressed as I wish, I assume everyone else is doing the same.

I agree I couldn't give a rats behind what anyone wears, so long as they have all their erm, lets say personal bits covered then I'm OK with it.

I was jesting, it's better than doing the ironing, which is what I should have been doing

I have noticed since i have been here (15 months) that about 85% of people don't worry about their dress sense/ weight etc. I know i shall get a lot of criticism from this, but it's just my view.

Who cares? Each to their own.

I know, lets all go back to using flints to light fires! After all it doesn't matter how you light a fire, does it? Or get rid of cars and go back to horses. But you are right, it shouldn't matter what you wear on your feet or not, but it does matter that you DO wear shoes in places where it shouldn't be appropriate not to wear them! Around the house, beach or park no shoes are fine. But come on, resturants and shops (not by a beach) are hardly the place to do it surely?

What does it matter?

Not wearing shoes or dressing casual is hardly being a mass murderer.

Self criticism and true values come to mind....

I wish I was so bleedin perfik

Don't waste your breath missus - it's a British disease - standing in judgement of others. Personally, whenever I visit the IGA, I wear a three piece suit and Church brogues.

Its also why they have such weak feet - need more time against natural elements to toughen them up.
