I dream of Tesco as some well know...
I sleep walk from isle to isle buying magazines, gifts, clothes, medicines, Tesco burbon creams aahhhh they're the best. I end up with 2 trolley loads but always wake up before I have to pay
The all under one roof. No draggin kids from car to car. Having a cuppa and a JAM dougnut before I start cor i'm off to
now so I can dream some more.

Sounds a daft question but what is the typical aussie dinner then?
Just so I know what to expect when I get over there and I can prime the kids LOL

And when you want to go back it's after 12:30 on Saturday and everywhere is closed. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Woody I had the same dream except mine is a nightmare and I'm not asleep!

And I'm afraid regardless of all the Australian supermarkets are great posts you hear its a big pile of twaddle. The UK ones are so superior there on another planet. My single biggest gripe is the Australian "one in front" policy which means 1 hour in front!!! My local woolworths, Big W and coles all have 12 or more checkouts with a maximum of 3 ever manned, Sometimes it takes me longer to get out of the shop than it did to do the shopping!

Very brave of you to post this!!!! Some people on here can't understand where you are coming from. I for one, do. I've been here 7 months and it still frustrates the hell out of me not being able to do all my shopping under one roof and being limited regarding the opening time. And don't even get me started on the facilities. There's no such thing as toilets/baby changing facilities, decent trollies etc in our local supermarket. In my opinion doing the supermarket shop here just doesn't compare to when I was in UK.
