Thanks Guys, I think us girls have shown that there is work out there if you keep looking!
All the locals told me that I would find it hard to get work teaching on the coast as it is so popular up here now and there is a high unemployment rate. I don't know whether my CV is red hot (joke) or if I just have skills that others don't as I have had calls every day ( supply teaching) and have had to turn work down!
I have already had calls to book me for next week.
I handed my cv into one school and the head of SEN literally ran after me as I was walking out! Seems they are really short of SEN teachers here, I think there are teachers with experience but no formal qualifications. Anyway that is good news for me as the pay is not bad either and I can choose when to work.
I will let you know what I think of the schools soon, I have had some interesting thoughts/ experiences so far.:scared: :scared:

Will let you know soon what I think of the system out here, to be fair I need to spend a bit more time teaching first.

congratulations hevs.....its hard to go back to work when you have had the time off, but its great when you get there!!! I had 2 years off when i had the twins, and HAD to go back to work just for some adult non-baby orientated conversation!!!!

Well my hopefully today became I AM EMPLOYED
started getting myself on agency books, police check, etc and my daughters childcare rung me today and offered me a job...the hours i was after to so it looks like this job lot came in 3,s as well Hevs.....
