They've let you in!!! There's hope for us all!!

Seriously though huge congratulations. You're waited such a long time and must have been beginning to think it would never happen.
Best of luck for the future for you and your family.

the postman has just been and delivered my letter granting the visa, it is sub class 100 and has a condition 8502 attached to it, i must not enter australia before my sponsor (the missus), does this mean we can go on the same flight and she just has to pass through immigration before me or is it more complicated than this?
BTW what is the difference between a sub class 100 and a 309?

You have the permanent one now I think!!!
309 is temporary, so 100 is permanent!

Mine is Sub Class 155, and that's definately Permanent Resident.
Just noticed i've only got 1 year left before I need to renew it, or become an Aussie !!

Just found this bit.....
Permanent resident visas have the word ‘residentâ ¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢ after the
visa class. The sub-class numbers are between 100 and 299 and some 800s
List of Sub Classes
just a few here from the link above......
100 Spouse
101 Child
102 Adoption
103 Parent

Well done WBB, good luck in your new life.
Does everyone have to have a short telephone conversation / interview prior to being granted a visa or is it just because WBB's special?
