To say i am gutted and heartbroken is an understatement. Its late at night, Mr Flutter is working all night and i'm here on my own.
We have put him on a chair outside the back door. I dont know what to do with him. Its too dark to go bury him, cant bring him inside as the dog will pester, but i wont be able to sleep thinking of him outside.
I'm waffling on sorry. Just really upset

Such a terrible shock for you. Same thing happened to us 2 years ago. Our sympathies also...

Oh flutterscutter my love, I'm so so sorry. Poor poor baby. Is it possible he ate something that had been baited? Probably tried to make his way back home. Bigs bigs hugs on their way to you.

Take care and anyone who says he was only a cat can be shot.

Thanks so much to all of you, and for the PMs and karma messages.
Not sure why i posted about it on here. I was on my own and i think i just needed to tell someone.
Little Bobcat has been buried in the garden. I left him in the shed for the night. Felt bit daft sitting in there with a torch talking to him, but i had to say goodbye properly.
Once again, i really appreciate your support.

I have just read this and am really sorry for your loss. I had a cat for over 6 yrs and one day he just up and vanished....He was the love of my life, that cat (except for Hubby of course). No cat I have had since can ever compare...
I am glad for you that if it had to happen, you got to say good bye and had closure. I would hate to have to go through what I went through when I lost Oscar again. The not knowing is just aweful...

Thanks all.
Many of you know how i am feeling. Its horrible isnt it?
I have decided i am not having anymore pets. I cant really cope with all the heartache. We still have our dog but no more pets in the future. I dote on them far too much, mainly as my kids and family are so far away. I treat them like my chilren. Silly old moo i guess.
