I NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP!!!!! :scared:
[stands on chair]
My name is Bridie and I'm a BE addict

Update on us:
Still waiting to exchange contracts, should be in the next couple of weeks
STILL waiting for news from DIMIA, hoping it wont be long now (nearly 19 weeks) and trying not to be too glum about the whole thing. Sorted John Masons to be our shippers and organising pet permit for cat.
Must admit that the break has done me good as I have not been half as stressed as I was previously, just want to keep it that way!

The sturdy wooden container they build for shipping your moggies in also serves as a useful TV stand once you've arrived here

Cheers,
Anya.

Not the same as having a lovely yellow sticker is it?
Here's what I read:
Visas not to be evidenced in many cases
One of the basic steps after having a visa granted in the past has been to then have a sticky visa label inserted in your passport. As DIMIA becomes more electronic in its operations there are going to be a larger number of visa categories that will not need to be evidenced.
Already there are a number of classes such as Electronic Visitor visas, Temporary Graduate visas and some student visas for which evidencing is often not required. DIMIA have decided to look at expanding this even further from 1st July and in the short future we will hear of further visa classes that do not need to be evidenced in passports.

Is there someone who travels with them to make sure they are OK?They don't eat: because it is is warm in the section of the hold where they're carried, they tend to settle down after a while & go to sleep. They're given a full, non-spillable container of water & this is checked & replenished at every stop. As for the 'exhaust' problem
ours don't appear to have to produced anything while in their box - it was perfectly clean. I think their metabolism simply slows down for the journey - just like if they were asleep on the bed all day. TBH, ours quite often sleep from say 7am until 9pm without wanting food/kitty letter box etc. Could be they're just lazy b*ggers, though!

Cheers,
Anya.
PS: the box was quite roomy and they could curl up & sleep quite comfortably - feline equivalent of Business Class!

Thanks for posting that, must admit this is the bit I am most worried about but you've put a lot of my worries to rest.
