My Aunt is currently building and they are having insulation put in, so it's not unheard of

I was in Melbourne in August and it was pretty chilly (sweaters and coats), but also in January (high summer) and nearly froze to death...at least as cold as an English summer's day, and having been in Noosa and Sydney, didn't have any very warm clothes. I got off an air-conditioned coach from Sydney and wondered why the whole of Melbourne seemed to be air-conditioned naturally.
