Why is there no one at the other end to help them, your all good at giving advice, now put it into practice. I have had expats come over and stay with us, and be there for them, dont you remember how hard it was at first because i do. We are picking up a family from airport 2 hours away next week, 1 in the morning, and they will stay with us until they find somewhere. I have found rentals for people, and just been a friendly face at the other end. I know a lot of others help out as well, so why are there families coming over and nobody there for them. Come on lets just try and help a bit more. Denise Anyone coming to the Northlakes area,Mango hill or surrounding area please pm me, & i'll do my best to help you out in any way i can. Donna. |

Re: helping each other
Hi there!
We are hoping to migrate to WA Perth in 1 or 2 months. We would love to hear from anyone wanting Babysitting for over 3 year olds, goods from UK etc. in return for advice friendship and help in setting up. I am a Nanny for over 3 year olds and my husband and I want to live in WA around Perth, perhaps North as far as Coral Bay, although we would also consider South of Perth, where I have never been. We hope to be leaving England in 1-2 months or so. We are hoping to stay in Youth hostels and work for our board. Visa not yet approved. Can anyone here remember about 139 visa from payment of bond onwards? Timings in fact any detail at all. We have AoS and have to pay bond within a few days. We have a sponsor who lives in VIC but we want to go to Perth. My hubbie works in IT so any info about jobs, suitable agencies, any hostel offering room and board for work. All advice most welcome. Hubbie being made redundant 30th June 2006 so we want to get jobs and start new asap, we have had to speed things up as we were not planning to leave England for another year or so. Thank you Angie (and Mark):)
