Have replied to email....... following the telephone call
Re:- Job Vacancy
Further to our recent telephone conversation regarding the position which has become available within your company I write to you.
I understand the urgency in which you need to fill the position given the circumstance of your present employee. As much as I would love to become part of your team should the job be offered to me our flights have been paid for along with our three weeks accommodation. I have considered flying alone but i feel that the pressure on my wife travelling with the five children would prove to be very stressful.
I appreciate that you have to find a suitable applicant as soon as possible and that you can't hold the position open for me. As you know we land in Brisbane on the 11th October (20.05) if the position is still vacant when we arrive I would be very interested to pursue this further. Like yourself I wish that my CV had reached you sooner as we could of booked everything so much earlier.
If it is that you are still interested in me, can you please let me know what the job package is including any possible pension schemes.
For your information I attach my full CV along with a reference, some photographs of my family and a few pictures taken at Royal Doulton UK where I'm working at present.
Kind regards
just had a reply back......
Hi Lisa & Andrew,
I totally understand your position and mentioned all of this on the phone
as my concerns for you, having done it all myself several times.
All I can ask, is for you to contact me upon your arrival/settlement and we
will review the situation then.
Until then, many thanks and good luck.
best regards

What does that reply mean?
Will your husband still have the job or not? It does not say.
Good luck whatever.
