You go and watch the apes and gorillas then at the eggball.
Watch real football if you want real skill. And Ben Thatcher's challenge the other day was hardly soft was it?
Muppet.

Noone denies the skill level in scoccer. To me, its like a clown juggling balls. Nice, and I couldn't do it at Billy Smart's Circus level, but not necessarily something I would pay to watch every weekend.
Most people who have played rugby will know there is a surprisingly high level of skill involved in all positions other than ball control. More so than the novice would realise, and tactics and gameplan too. You can buy whole training videos on the skills of each position and tactics. I can't remember the last time I saw that with defender, striker, and er midfielder, oh - and 2-4-4. 3-5-2 (yawn).
'Challenge' what's that - a invite to a duel?
Even the language masks the fact soccer is extremely overrated, in my humble opinion. I often sit down to watch soccer games and end up bored with essentially what looks like a kickabout. Beautiful - not really.....a myth. The funniest thing is the fact that soccer fans do get very touchy about it when we have a bit of a stir. I say have a bit of confidence in yourself and your game - there's no need to call someone a muppet over it. It's precisely that mentality that weakens soccer.
