We haven't had a Gold Coast meet up for a while on here and given I missed the last one, thought I'd try and organise one for Sunday 9th April. Me and the Mrs thought that the park by Southport Surf Life Savers Club at Main Beach would be a good spot.
There's BBQ's and a good park there.

I've just had a look at the refindex and the park is on MacArthur Parade. If you follow directions for Sea World and turn right by the Southport Yacht Club, the park is about 50 metres down next to the Southport Surf Life Savers Club - opposite Main Beach Caravan Park.
There are BBQ's there, so bring BBQ food and any other stuff you may need. There are shaded area's and it's right by the beach too. I haven't figured out what we'll do if there's no BBQ's left. Being British we'll probably form an orderly queue - here's hoping there will be one free.
If anyone's got a cricket set or football then bring it along.
We shouldn't have too much difficulty recognising each other as we're all British, so we'll be wearing handkerchief's on our heads, string vests and socks and sandals.
