Nope. It wasn't how well he was doing that I was taking issue with. Its the fact he goes on and on about it . Not very classy.

I'd have the same issue with someone if they mentioned how wonderful their kids were at every opportunity, whether or not it was relevant to the topic under discussion.

Just wondering how is it that UK citizens are able to get first home owners grant in Oz? Do you have residency here or are you just on a work permit? Are you also able to get access to a mortgage/home loan through banks in Oz?

To get the grant, either you or your spouse has to have PR.
