Rachel can go to work if all else fails as she's gagging to, and she'll find work easily enoough if we can believe the agency that she spoke to.

Plumber by trade in the UK but not here, so I'm just unskilled labour, but I'm 41 and don't want to go back to school, well not for plumbing anyway.
Rachel on the other hand is 28 and hates being at home with the kids and I don't blame her, otherwise I'd be at home and she'd be working.

Its the reduced stamp duty you won't be eligable for as the property is over $350,000.

Give it a rest. We've got the 'Loadsamoney' character in our heads already. Yes, you have a very impressive wad . Nice to keep shoving it in everyones face.
Pity money can't buy class.

I know that you do have to stay put for a year but that's OK.

But there is also another grant in WA called the Home Buyers Assistance Grant (HBAF). You need to meet various criteria to get that. One of the criteria is that the purchase price must not be more than $400,000. It's recently been increased to that, which is probably why it's been in the news. Then my mistake - I could have sworn that was one of the questions on the form. Thanks for putting me right.
