WA I did the test on tuesday and got the photo in the post this morning all for $150 and now to find that right job, the driving hours could be harsh as you can drive a lot more hours in a day and week over here in a two week period you can drive 144 hours, and then you get from the kids, who's that strange man mummy, not for me mate if you want to know anymore pm me and I will try to answer anything I can as fast as I can as I am using a friends computer at the moment cheers Paul

I live in WA and my husband has a bike licence which he obtained in England. When he received his car licence here, the bike entitlement was added too, no test was required for either.

Looks like it is just a straight swap from UK licence to Aus licence id Vic & NSW within 3 months.

I'm on a reccie in a couple of weeks and wondered if i will need both parts of the driving license with me or will the id card do?
I ask because i have just had mine changed from the old green one so not sure if they have to be together to hire the car?....

Pretty sure for H.G.V. licences you will have to take a theory and practical in N.S.W.
