Re: So, just to recap, I'm a famous American actress?
I didn't say you were American . . . I said you lived in America . . . not necessarily the same thing . . .

Party = Melbourne, no other cities come close IMO, except Sydney and that has little soul.

Re: Do i live in Australia!?!?
[F][F][F][F]Hello everyone, thank you so much for taking time out to read this and if yo answer my dilemma-thanks so much!!
I'm in a bit of a state at the moment really need advice and opinions please!
Here goes, I'm a 23yr old female, I have my own little business, when i say that i mean i work for myself as a freelance hairdresser, i've been doing this for 2 years now and it's great but i get sooo bored, i don't have that security of a guaranteed wage every month, and it's not an amazing wage when i do get it, but i love it and i'm sooo proud of what i've achieved.
I went to Australia on a holiday in 2007 and fell in love with the place, it's all i could talk about, it took me 2 years to get back there, i went with a friend back in january this year, half holiday half travelling for a month, had a blast but now i'm even more in love with Australia than before!
So I'm deciding do i give up my little business here my friends and family and boyfriend to live my dream or do i stick it out here and just....get on with it?
Also if i do decide to go which part would i got to???I want to go somewhere that i can party, have the beach life, lots of sun, be a hairdresser but above all rent somewhere that i can wake up every morning to a beautiful beach view.
Please help me out what do i do!?
Thanks for your time,
Lou xx

Beach houses cost a lot where ever you end up, but at your age with no ties
Considering your considering leaving your BF just dump him now.
After that contact and agent and go...

And if she is 23 and fit then she'll have no trouble meeting a man with a beach front house.

Judging on what you have said, how you said it and your age I would suggest the Gold Coast will be good for you.

Re: Do i live in Australia!?!?
Thank you so much everyone for the great advice much appreciated!!!
As far as the boyfriend goes, he's really not interested, which you know fair enough i guess, but he know's how much i want to go and he cant give up a year for me to come with me, god that sounds completly selfish but i would do it for him. So maybe i just need to get on with it and go, see what happens
I will get hold of that book, thanks for the tip, sure it will help!
So we decided it's either Melbourne or Goldcoast? I loved Melbourne when i was there but not much beach life...? So i guess goldcoast wins it...
Any futher ingormation on the goldcoast guys-would be fantastic!!!
Thanks again for your opinions...think i'm going to go for it!!!!

Re: Do i live in Australia!?!?
You won't get accommodation close enough to the beach to wake up to a beach view on the GC.
You haven't been able to send or receive PMs because you need three posts or more for that facility to be enabled. Now you are on three posts, it will work fine.
