Ooops, Sorry for misinterpreting you Megs.

I understood your statements "You would have to work on distinguishing yourself from the stereotype" and "You will be judged by almost all on your appearance" to be your "subtle" way of saying YOU didnt think it was the best of ideas to go into interviews wearing dreads.

Must remember in future that rather than speaking for yourself you "state your conception of the majority's perception"

Truely, I could have been clearer.

As for my personal taste - Dreads are just another vainity.

Vanity, Vanity, all goes down the plug hole eventually.
