There is obviously a problem with either my medical history or else they havent yet found them or I am sure they would have responded by now.
I have about as much excitement about Australia at the moment as John Howard has chance of growing hair.

I don't think you should have to re-do them surely???
Our place where we had meds done have kept a copy and will re-send if needed.
Our meds cost pretty much 1250 pounds so thank god they did keep a copy!

Hi All,
Just had email today saying there is a 6 to 8 week delay in processing meds at Sydney.
Ours got there end June (were signed for etc) so they don't want them re-sending.
Question is, is there really that long a delay or are they giving worse case scenario so we will be pleased when it is only 4 weeks?
Anybody got their visas recently even with this delay?
Cathy

Hi I've been waiting 8weeks and have now been told it will be another 2 weeks at least maybe more,Had a word with the Minister of Immigration Office and was told ,that they were aware that there was a problem but being as the LCU is a third party organisation there is nothing they can do about it >3rd Party organisation my foot ,it is run by another Government Department "Health" .Typical of most government department "its not my problem its alway somebody else that the problem" Don't sent Emails they are never answered ,try ringing Kevin Andrews Minster for Immigration 0061262777860 .Good Luck to all out there that are waiting, may it end soon

I reckon I will hear in about 4 weeks time which will take it to the 12 week time frame.
If I hear before then I will not only be very surprised but I will shave my own hair off (confident that I wont have to).

Looks like we might have beaten you on this one. We got our 136 visa yesterday, so soon be heading to Perth. Good luck all of you especially PP who seems to be enduring more than most with the waiting.
