Does anyone know if there is a VAT refund desk at all airports, e.g. Glasgow?

With regards to getting refunds on sales tax, you can also do this in Singapore.

Work out the total you will have earned in the tax year you are emigrating in by multiplying your gross pay by the number of months in the tax year until you emigrate. Then apply that total to the income tax thresholds to get the amount of tax you should have paid.

The rebate will be approximately the answer to 1 minus the answer to 2.

Does anybody know whether you can still claim some of the tax back if you'll be renting out a UK property and making a profit on it?

The P85 form asks for details of this. For example if I leave in November, and start receiving rent through the rest of the tax year?

Thanks
