Hi
Just wondering if anyone knows of any caravan sites in Melbourne. . We are just sitting here trying to work out the type of accommodation to go for when we validate our visa in Nov, 2005. And was wondering about caravans or self contained , as we would preferably like somewhere that has a kitchen. we are trying to compare costs, locations etc.
Thanks in advance.

I'd think very carefully before going to stay in Frankston...not just because its 45km away from the city.
Have a look on www.citysearch.com.au, there are loads of options on there for self-contained apartments. Depending on how close you want to be to the city, there are other Big4 caravan parks on www.big4.com.au that are in better areas and are closer to the city.
