The posts on here regarding specific real estate firms are highly inadvisable. You are not anonymous on the internet and regardless of whether you are worried of defaming the other party if you are intending on taking legal action against them then a judge is not going to look kindly on your first choice of forum.

As one of the posters on here who named a specific rental agency I am happy to name and shame a specific agency who behaved appallingly. They can't sue for libel.. What I have written both now and at the time is the absolute truth and they would have to prove otherwise.

Without a fight they would have kept our deposit AND charged us more for a house that we handed back in a much better state to them than they handed to us... Evidenced by the comparative inspection reports. We had photographic evidence as to the condition of the supposedly brand new lawn on the day we moved in... Clearly NOT a brand new lawn, and we also have evidence that the pool was left in pristine condition. We have evidence that the at the time manager told us that she was going to break watering restrictions and switch the retic on for a week, leave it on and reassess... Also that they attempted to charge us for a "pet clean"post vacation of the property that we had no pets in at any time...


I nothing else others should know that there are sharp and dishonest practices within the rental system here in wa and that when this happens you can fight it and win...

We had our deposit returned
If you think it unwise to advise potential renters that we personal had an awful experience with them ... Then so be it... Sue and be damned!!

Today went to Rockingham magistrates court paid the fee and submitted all the evidence and forms as today has given Elders 2 weeks to sort out problems ..............cough nothing sorted still what a surprise ..................., two weeks wait to be seen , there is a rental help guy at the courts who goes through everything with me before I go in , I have not asked for compensation from the owners for loss of facilities on the forms , only to break lease .........................so hopefully will keep u all posted

I will name and shame them as they are useless ,and for all the potental expats moving to port kennedy and want to go to kwinana elders , advise strongly against as they are useless ..................court or no court , I need to help poms know what may happen ................as for Elders they claim they are specialists ..................yeh specialists my ass ...............I rent a house out in the uk ...the agent emails me I get back straight away and they sort out the problem straight away ...............that is uk to australia .....................this agent here is what I would call a total joke , and no one can tell me otherwise !

Dont completely right off the Rockingham area... there are some pockets of pure gold ... I have several friends in PK who are very happy... one of our Drs has just brought there after doing extensive research...

and of course I personally live in Rockinghams best kept secret location... I can't tell you where exactly coz I dont want tthe tone of the area lowered by a bunch of pomms moving in

Nope not baldivis.... couldn't stand the souless new builds all packed in together (ducks and runs for cover) Rockingham city central... a very small estate... not new... but not old... walk to the foreshore, walk to city centre... great neighbours... not a single donut on any of the roads... when a house comes up for sale people ask... oh dear who died? coz its the only way people seem to leave it... we're considered the 'bogans' coz we are probably the only people who ever leave their vehicles parked on their own driveways...
