:D Am only accepting that comment 'cos it comes off the tip of a VERY long tongue.;)

Just cheesing me off, that someone who has SOMETHING to say, someone who's well travelled enough to know the ' difference ', gets flamed for his opinions.

I didn't particularly like Don's " fat girl " comments, and no - i'm not a bloater! - just a woman who COULD be, one day!

But, still, let the man have his say.

Some people can be so anal - and it's not Don. If they can't stand a bit of banter over the 'net, then how in Gods name are they going to stand being the ' new guy ' in a new country and all the associated ribbing which may go with it?????

:)

I agree with some of what you say. Most of us like to have some banter and laugh at life but, being personally abusive to someone, or attacking them in a non constructive way is not on. It depends in what context it is done i feel.Would we consider it accetable to do that in the pub? So why should it be acceptable here?

Myself, and many other posters, have plenty of experience and knowledge of living abroad. It doesnt mean that we should be forgiven or "allowed" to abuse others as a trade off, and be excused for behaving in an anti social manner.

Having a quick wit, broad mind and ability to smile is a truly admirable quality. Trying to make yourself look smarter than the average bear, by putting someone else down, is not.

So, anyone know any dirty jokes?
:D
