Sorry PB that is where you are wrong, if you are in Perth you cannot possibly know what is going on in Sydney at the moment. The recruiters are desperately looking for nurses in the community as well as the hospitals and interviewing in the UK.

I know I've already been for interviews!

To true but if its a system like sliver chain I would give it a miss.
Ask yourself why they require staff from abroad , when so many here who have nursing skills are giving it up.
PS my wife was a District nurse in the UK and was offered a sliver chain job here , no way would she take it after been given the details of employment.

Not a silver chain involved, but if I do find a job there it can only make the organisation that much better by employing somebody like me.

Now had I been going to Melbourne I could have joined the Royal District nurses which are very good and well organised.
