Calling all Nurses
Just out of interest. How many of you are nursing in Australia or intend to work as a nurse out there and which speciality are you working in?
Which city are you heading to? Cheers, Nosey Siobhan! |
Hi there,
Both my hubby and I are nurses. He's in Renal and I'm in Neonates. We're heading out in a couple of weeks to validate and are looking to check out Brisbane as a hopeful contender for future living. What about yourself? Ginny |
Nurse type person heading for Perth. Hoping to get back into renal medicine or stick with general surgery. Don't mind really.

Rate for the job in the UK is top Grade G. 1 GBP= 1 ASD so a $260,000 home is a 260,000 GBP house? :D   |
Pay for NHS direct depends on which part of the country you live. If you are lucky its G grade pay but it is generally F grade.

Re: Calling all Nurses
Hi Siobhan
I am currently working on a Surgical high Dependency unit heading for Perth hopefully 2004. No jobs lined up at present but in the process of contacting a few agencies and hospitals in the area. Interested to read Teresa's posting about jobs as I've yet to start making enquiries - hope to work on a dialysis unit abw...
