Bunnings

I love doing mosaic. When we were still in Canada I did a lot of stained glass work and have tons of glass left over. I'm going to do a mosaic with some of the smaller pieces for our water feature at the new house.
I would love to take a metalwork course and learn how to do wrought iron work. There was a blacksmith shop about 2 hours from where I lived and used to go up there to watch him work. I don't seem to see those type of short courses here, though.

But where the shelves are actually stocked and where (in our closest one anyway) the staff are visible and actually know what they're talking about. Can't speak for other branches but the one at Burleigh is excellent, even if I do have to go by the sausage sizzle on the way for hubby or tiddler

Example of Australian fund-raising at play.

Broke our Bunnings virginity on Friday: my wife has mentally spent thousands.....which is fine as long as I get the barbie.......have to say, very well stocked, lots of staff and always somewhere to play for the kids.
