Containers - Removal Firms any recommendations?
We have had an offer on our house - hooray, only our buyer has a house to sell, to his uncle who has no ties. So that is good. I know it is early days, but we need to get quotes etc for a shipping container. Who do you recommend? Is there any you wouldnt recommend and why?

I've moved you but to be honest, you're probably better off getting them all in for a quote and making your own decision. If you do a search, it's a question that comes up weekly and each time, a different company comes out as preferable
The largest ones are the one's to chose from and because of the amount of containers that get moved around the world on a yearly basis, there will always be a minority who have crap service where the majority find the service excellent. The main ones are John Mason, PSS, Anglo Pacific, Doree Bonner, Crown, Whites and probably a few more.
Personally we used JM and found them brilliant both in the UK and through their partner here Wridgways.

Hi! We live down south, so asked for quotes, from 2 of our companies, both came over as very good, Whites and Pickfords.
We settled for Whites, because of the price, and what was covered, also, our daughter used them 3 years ago, and had no problems.
Our house sale is still going through, so can't say anymore, yet !
Regards Lin
