OMG!!!!

I am soooo glad I live in London at the moment!, and then back to SYD or MELB!.

Leo who?...

I am glad if you liked it, but is that what the local council think is in-date!. Next it will be a Cannon and Ball reincarnation?!.

Seems to me that in WA they think Benny Hill is modern comedy and 'All-New'!. Yeh, how laughable!

Sounds Z-list hell on earth! Is it that their Super contributions are a bit off key!.

At least you will get Ladygaga and PINK to wake WA up!

Have fun

Rob Broadfield restaurant/eatery reviews are the best part of the West Autralian newspaper. he cracks me up with his comments. You are right, most of them are bistro style eateries, but nevertheless it's fun to read his views on the foody scene in Perth.

Somebody wrote about him:

So what sets Broadfield apart from the rest of Perth’s food critics?

1. His reviews are informed
2. He can write
3. His assessments are brutally honest

Relax Turbo, I think the poster you quoted was being a bit tongue in cheek. Virtually all the big live acts that come to Australia come to Perth.

Burswood can be hit or miss in my opinion, depending on the amount of curtains used to prevent reverb.
I went to Santana last year and it HAS to be the best sounding concert I have ever heard. The sound was stunning and the difference that I could see was only 1/2 the seating was being used and a large number curtains draped throughout the dome.

Last we had a choice between Coldplay and the Veronicas.... Seen Coldplay so went to The Veronicas! Never seen so many 8-10 year old girls in one room

After concert went to Subiaco to eat (11.00pm) then went to some bars in Subi... so Perth boring???? Not if you get out and have a good time.

Do you know I'm so glad that I no longer live in London at least then I don't have to listen to pretentious idiots who think they are soooooo much more cultured than any one else. :curse:
It wasn't meant to be cutting edge modern music night but a freebie bit of fun for families at the local park. Now that doesn't happen in London too often.
Have fun

Perth is like an island miles from anywhere except its surrounded by thousands of miles of desert instead of water.

Funny. I wonder what that massive expanse of water that borders it is then

I don't think you count the sea when talking of "anywhere"

Some reality in a thread of bullshit.

Basement Jaxx, N.E.R.D., Paul Oakenfold in Perth tonight. There is plenty to do in Perth if you want it.

I hate pommy wankers/tools/f**kwits. Go home.

Up in Wanneroo eh? heheh I work for the council managing their website. I initially thought 'how naff', but then looked at it for what it was, a free family fun event.

We've also got the Choirboys coming up as a free gig. So anyone looking for a semi-big Aussie rock band, that'll be worth seeing.

Have also got Soundwave tomorrow that I'm going to with:

Nine Inch Nails
Alice in Chains
Bloodhound Gang

and many more heavy/alternative acts.

The live music scene in Perth is something you definitely cannot complain about. You get the big acts, plus the local scene is very good.
