We flew two days after the attack (Heathrow - Hong Kong - Australia - Fiji - LA -
Heathrow) and all the BA/Qantas flights we were on (inc. returns) was were packed.

My 6 flights to Aus in the past 2 years. BA/Qantas and Singapore. Never had a plane
that wasnt 100% full. you ned space? cut off the legs or book a wing seat. or hope to
be next to a thin person, (that dont include me unfortunately)

Re: Best time or day to fly to Oz?
I just flew from LAX to Sydney 3 weeks ago and my Quantas flight over there
10:30pm was fairly empty and we had a lot of space to spread out. We also had those
great little TV screens in front of us so we were kept busy the whole time.
Unfortunately, on the way back, the plane was 100% full, no movie screens and it
seemed as the seats were even closer to each other. What a horrible flight. By the
way the flight was in the afternoon.
