Just as I'm sure you'll agree it should be as laid out under law and accountable without born again, Pentecostal Morrison's Millwall stance of nobody likes us but we don't care, constant degrading and xenophobic stance in order to win over a certain, unfortunately large element right wing and bogan elements of the population.

Wol and yourself will never get an answer because the lefty labour pwople on this thread have no interest in working through a solution. All they are interested in is attacking the Liberal government.
Its like the moron Bill Shorten. All he does is attack the Libs with criticisms. He comes up with zero ideas of his own.
If this country wants a viable alternative, there you have it my friends. Bill Shorten and Christine Milne. God help Australia.

Re: An apology to asylum seekers
As I told a Scottish Oz friend (5 years Oz citizen) at weekend (with strong WASPish attitudes) who complained about too many 'Indians' etc. in Melbourne ('runaway population growth'), like his relatives there do as well, why don't you go home?
Issue for me (born bred in Oz bush) and other Australians is when newer immigrants want to lift up the drawbridge, after they have arrived, and use 'lifeboat ethics' arguments to justify, to maintain status quo, or is it something deeper and nastier?

The right and left are both paranoid about refugees (they are both 'wedged' on sdiscourage og whistle'), but Labor fell hook line and sinker for all the other racist proxies under the guise of 'sustainable population' issues, as propagated by Oz end of US white nativists (whom also inform Population Matters in the UK).

So there we have it. No ideas, no creativity, just more wasted left wing rhetoric.
