Hi, we are from notts as well, but actually like where we live!
can relate to the Eastwood thing tho, we used to live nearby and were burgled by brothers who were from Eastwood, we knew his name and address as he was stupid enough to leave behind a court letter from that day, for another burglary, with his name and address on!!!
Simon and Clare - have you heard anything at all yet? also wondered cos i know you have done skills assessment, after doing the practical how long roughly does it take to get everything together for your visa app?
Thanks
Bec & jonny

Hi Jon n Bec, I completed the the Practical in June last yr, we held off off the final Visa app until we did a recci in September( we wanted to make sure all the fmaily was happy). we have finally just lodged in December after getting all the paperwork sorted out. it never ends the small details they ask for.
I believe its going to be a another yr or so now before the visa is granted.

i don't mind the long wait after the applications in, it's the waiting between stages that drives me mad, he should have originally done his practical last july, so its been hanging over our heads since then.
where did you go on your reccie? we're still undecided where to go, we've got friends and relatives in nsw & qlnd, but we like lots of areas, suppose we need to go where theres more chance of work.
