Hi, we have them here in Adelaide.
The lovely wide streets are lined with them - -totally beautiful.
I didn't know what they were called though - -thanks for that.

We just missed the Jacaranda season when we came on holiday in 2004 so we were glad to fly out in October permanently and catch this beautiful sight. We have a few in Springfield Lakes but the place to be at the moment to see them in all their glory is Goodna. We passed yesterday going to the station for a train to the city and noticed that this weekend is the RSL Jacaranda festival in Goodna and the trees are an absolute picture. May try to get to that if we are not busy trying to find jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
