Good luck with it all Helen
I am petrified most days. Heading out there with my little boy and three dogs. Change my mind at least twice a day! Just scared too I think.
Hope all your plans go well.

Rentals were a bit of a nightmare but my hubby has been down there since new year so he has been able to score the areas we liked he said it wa hard to get the right balance, grotty will take pets to fantastic and will not take pets. But he found one in the end. They are flying out a week after us lucky that our 18 year old is not comming down until 26 th august after his A level results so he will be here to see them off.
Where are you going to and when?

Don't always feel brave but a barbie with some mates today helped me get back on track!
Hoping to move to Maryborough, up the coast from Brisbane, near Fraser Island. Loads of whales and Dolphins. All depends if the jobs are there when the visa finally arrives. I have a mate moving up there early next year so hope he can do the reccie on rentals for me. I know it may be difficult as you have to apply for a licence for more than two dogs! Just something else to fret about
One of my pooches has multiple tumors so not sure if she will make the trip, hope she does want the new life for them too.
Good luck with it all hun and I will keep an eye out for your progress.

Yep happens to me at each stage of the application then I get over my panic and know I'm doing the right thing. I know when we get our visa's granted I'll be in a combination of shock, Joy and absolute fear but at the end of the day I know why I'm going and know it is right for us.
It's only natural to fear the unknown or relatively unknown even if you have been before.

All these thoughts are going through my head it doesnt help cause hubby is working there already and he's only been back twice since new year im still working and i feel im doing everything on my own . God i can moan for Wales!!!! (well with a little help from the kids!!!)
Also 18 year old isnt flying down with me, hubby and daughter he following us on 26th Aug, cause he waiting for his A-level results and staying with my parents god help him..... (his flight is booked aswell so he cant escape he got to come) and im worried about him travelling alone (just being an over anxious mother i know, he still my little boy..haha)
It not all bad deep down i am looking forward to our new life and deep down i know we will all be fine it will be strange but i think it is the fear of the unknown
Is anyone else a few weeks away from their new life and do they feel the same??
