anyone around birkdale, public transport question
One of the boys needs to get to Birkdale 
for a specialist appointment. I cant go that day but can get him to the city.
Loking on translink, looks like a right kerfuffle, bus, 50 minute train, walk blah blah OMG thought bayside was handy.
Is there anywhere in the city he could hop straight on a train/bus to birkdale station. Thorne Road is the end location he needs to get to.
Would send him in a taxi, but the flippin appointment alone is $750
Thinking taxi would be 100 odd each way??

Birkdale train station is pretty close. should take about 50 mins on the train from central/roma street. Goes every 30 mins. Can also get on south bank/south brisbane / park road .. etc

there should have been a mention of how "cheap" the fare is compared to UK, melbourne, outer mongolia
