In case anyone is interested, here is an example of train times, between Cleveland (the end of the line) and Brisbane Central station.

4:16pm Central Railway Station
4:19pm Roma Street Railway Station
4:23pm South Brisbane Railway Station
4:25pm South Bank Railway Station
4:28pm Park Road Railway Station
4:30pm Buranda Railway Station
4:32pm Coorparoo Railway Station
4:34pm Norman Park Railway Station
4:37pm Morningside Railway Station
4:40pm Cannon Hill Railway Station
4:43pm Murarrie Railway Station
4:47pm Hemmant Railway Station
4:49pm Lindum Railway Station
4:51pm Wynnum North Railway Station
4:53pm Wynnum Railway Station
4:55pm Wynnum Central Railway Station
4:58pm Manly Railway Station
5:01pm Lota Railway Station
5:04pm Thorneside Railway Station

and in your car you can sit down, eat, drink, listen to music etc. Cant even take a coffee on the train .

that train is awful. The seats are awful. it stops at every damn station.

its like 1hr going round in circles on london underground train.I truly feel sorry for those who have to use it every day.

...and how far is that?... and do you still have that anorak from the days standing at the end of the platforms at Crewe?

40-60 minutes depending on where in the CBD you landed and where in 'cleveland' you started.

Yep, I've decided to change tack... I had to wait till the following day for a doctors appointment

How far ? as the crow flies or by train track ? Big BIG difference

It does depend on exactly where you are going, and how long it takes to find a parking spot. 45 minutes drive + 30 minutes trying to park was about my worst experience.

This thread could have been far more exciting there should have been a mention of how "cheap" the fare is compared to UK, melbourne, outer mongolia
