We're in the same boat our's went on the 26th but not heard anything since either, it seams a heck of a long time ago though, if 7 weeks feels like a life time to you like it does to me then goodness help us both on the next stage!!!

i cant believe its taking so long - every day i think todays the day, i have a feeling - only to log onto my emails to see 'nothing' - that is apart from all your threads, which without i would be going insane
we want to be out there end of feb - starting to doubt it now
come on immigration - sort yourselves out, we're desperate!

The one really great thing that i find wih BE forum is that you can always find someone who feels the same as you do. Good luck and i hope you hear something soon and you have THAT email in your box shortly.

Our visa was sent off on 16th July, we got a pre ack and to say money was taken out of our account on 31st August, was told to wait another 6 weeks for a full ack and to recieve a ref number.

Still nothing, nothing, nothing...........perhaps we should start a new thread; we could call it 'the ones immigration forgot (or maybe misplaced)'!

I'm not really being impatient it would be nice to just know that our application was moving and not shoved under a wobbly table leg (the nightmares have been really vivid the past few nights - could be a portent)!

To be honest there isn't much of a rush for us as we are quite happy to stay in the UK untill next july/august because of jobs etc. Anyway posting on here is more interesting than ploughing though my In Tray.

Agreed totally Didi,
for some reason expats is far more addictive than my in tray too!! I spoke to my agenct yesterday and she has said that it's anything up to 16 weeks from application to allocation of a CO at the moment due to the influx of applications they have had. Roll on November i say but like others we aren't looing at going until June / July next year anyway so it'll be fine. Not too sure about my stress levels but hey positive thinking and all.
