You could try emailing LCU. I did but didn't get a reply. Anyway, drop an email to LCU at [email protected] and include your details in the mail incl.

1. Name of Applicant
2. Date of Birth
3. Passport number
2. Visa Applied For
3. Date Medicals Dispatched
4. Method of Dispatch (Courier/Standard)
5. If sent by Courier, then include:
- courier company name
- tracking number
- receipt date
- name of person who signed for the package on receipt

In other threads I see that people also suggest adding your file # and LCU received date in the subject.

FWIW, LCU received our meds on 17-Nov, and our case officer emailed on the 12-Dec and didn't reference the meds, which our agent took to mean they was no problem with them. So I would say they are processing much faster now than back in the summer - and two of us had to be referred as they have pre-existing conditions.

Sorry to change the subject and backtrak a bit, I spoke to my agent yesterday and she had just received a response to an email she sent to DIAC 8 weeks ago!!!! She has sent a chase up email on our behalf last week so i don't expect to hear anything from them for another 7 weeks or so. Our medicals have been sent off this morning though so there will just be the PCC's to go off when they come back from the local police station. Mind you having said that the doctor says that we're all normal so that's a good thing and shouldn't expect anything to come back as a result of them. Before anyone says it I did ask the doctor if he was ok and if he was sure about me being normal - he confirmed it so I guess I really am, I've never in my life been called normal before though

Have you had an acknowledgement yet? As we sent in by bankers draft we are doing a trace with our bank to see if the cheque has been cashed, our agent has told me today that when the find our application they will backdate it to 3 July when it arrived in Oz.

Its turning into a nightmare.

Don't worry about your medicals, don't think anyone is normal after going through the stress of immigrating

Sorry I should stop being mean.... If you click on the quote button in a post then that will be placed automatically into your new post. To quote a second the easiest way is to copy and paste the text you want to include in a second quote and copy from the auto quote the beginning and end parts in square brackets, changing the username if need be.

This doesn't work if you use quick reply.
