Hi lewandkate
There does seem to be a lot of expectant mums in Perth at the sec!
Where are you having your baby? your due date is getting near! how are you finding being pregnant in the heat? I'm hating it!

Most of the time the heat doesn't bother me anymore than it did last year when I wasn't pregnant apart from those 38c plus days that is!!
We'll be having the baby at Kaleeya, East Freo.... Its very nice and all the midwifes I've seen so far have been great. Also a couple of friends have had babies there so was highly recommended to us.
You get a choice of where you want to have the bub here which I thinks good, and most are willing for you to go and view hospital before you sign up to anywhere.
How is the pregnancy going has it sunk in yet?

Hi Kate,
The pregnancy is slowly sinking in and now my tum is starting to show it has been hitting home recently! Can't believe I am almost 5 months, time has really flown by. So far all has gone well, have been feeling much better recently and my energy levels are starting to return now I'm pleased to say!
The heat has been a real issue for me this year, I seem to be really feeling it. Last year I loved being out in the sun but this year I have stayed in the air-con.
I don't see a midwife until the 9th March but it seems nice enough at the King Edward and was also recomended to me by friends. Its hard to know where to go when you are new to the country. How long have you been in Australia for?

hi there,
yep could do there or maybe the lotterywest family area - that way little one can play and we can chat - otherwise I'll be running the length of synergy parkland chasing after him! He seems to be running everywhere at the moment - such a joy

Hi Bev,
Hopefully the weather will be cooling down soon which will make it more comfortable for you. Its a whole new experience being the 1st born here even just the simple things like where to buy stuff! No Mothercare where its all under 1 roof. Although have found Baby on a Budget to be quite good so far.
We have been in Perth 2 yrs this April. How about you?
Sadly I cant make Thursday as have the other 2kids at school and they need picking up at 3pm.
